Alleghany Memorial Hospital Honors H.V. Lindsey for Twenty Years of Service


Alleghany Memorial Hospital Trustees honored H.V. Lindsey of Independence, Virginia for 20 years of service on the Hospital Board of Trustees and his wife, Jean for all her support. Warren Taylor, Board Chairman presented H.V. with a photograph of the hospital signed by Trustees extending appreciation for his dedicated service to the hospital. In addition to his Board responsibilities, H.V. fulfilled a major role on our Board Finance Committee. “We are sad to see him leave the Board, but are thankful and would like to express the appreciation of our Communities, the Hospital Staff, Medical Staff and Board of Trustees for his dedicated service,” said Taylor.  


Alleghany Memorial Hospital is a private not-for-profit hospital serving our surrounding communities. A 15 member volunteer Board of Trustees governs the hospital. The Hospital Board of Trustee members serve with a vision to provide a facility that offers top quality healthcare.


Jim Heitzenrater, hospital CEO, remarked that, “the hospital and the citizens we serve owe a tremendous gratitude to the men and women that dedicate their time and talents to serve on the Hospital Board of Trustees and for the leadership and commitment they provide Alleghany Memorial Hospital. The Hospital Staff would like to take this opportunity to THANK all Board of Trustee members for their outstanding contribution to Alleghany Memorial Hospital and the citizens they serve.”
